One arm chin milestone #2

After I warmed up with a couple sets of two handed chins, I went over to the chin bar to start doing some negatives. While standing there holding the bar with my right hand, I thought, “Boy, I can feel the metal give if I start to pull up a little bit.” At that point, I decided to give it a whirl and really pull. Granted, my feet were planted on the floor, and I wasn’t at a complete hang but, lo and behold, I started pulling myself up.
I was so surprised that I can’t remember if I pushed off at all with my feet. I don’t think I did. Before I really knew what was happening, I was over halfway up. At this point, I tried to kick it into overdrive and really pull but I couldn’t get much over halfway up. Still a one arm chin milestone. Stay posted! |
